The past four weeks, I have been conducting research on Mexican Nationals (aka braceros) in my hometown of Oxnard. I have spent many hours examining the local newspaper, Oxnard Press-Courier on microfilm and at newspaperarchive.com. In examining the newspaper, I came around two advertisements supporting the Bracero Program in Ventura County [see images below].
