I was not\u00a0surprised, but it&#8217;s connected to my lectures\u00a0in my &#8220;Race and Labor in the United States&#8221; class. I had my students reading,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Fresh-Fruit-Broken-Bodies-Anthropology\/dp\/0520275144\">Fresh Fruit, Broken Bodies: Migrant Farmworkers in the United States<\/a>, which focused on the\u00a0structural violence toward farmworkers, especially indigenous Mexican migrants.
