BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m one of the first in the nation (and world) to earn a Ph.D. in Chicano\/Latino Studies!<\/p>\n

I received my Ph.D. in Chicano\/Latino Studies from Michigan State University (2012). Also, I have an M.A. in Chicana\/o Studies from California State University, Northridge (2007).<\/p>\n

My research focuses on labor, migration, working-class histories, community-based organizations, community activism, social and political movements, critical pedagogy, archival preservation, and museum studies.<\/p>\n

I’m currently a Teaching Professor<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0at Bowling Green State University<\/a>,<\/strong> teaching in the Department of Ethnic Studies<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
